چکیده

A common sequela to allogeneic or autologous bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is a delay in the reconstitution of a functional B-cell immune response. Therefore, we examined whether the posttransplant BM microenvironment is deficient in supporting the proliferation and/or differentiation of B-cell precursors. BM stromal cell cultures were established from patients who received allogeneic or autologous BMT for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Hodgkin‘s disease, or non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. These cuttures were then compared with normal donor BM stromal cell cultures for expression of adhesion molecules and the capacity to support the adhesion and interleukin-7 (IL7)-dependent growth of normal B-cell precursors. Analysis of BM stromal cell cultures established from 28 BMT recipients showed a significantly reduced expression of cell surface vascular cell adhesion molecule-l (VCAM-l/CDlOG), compared with nor-

Effect of Tribulus Terrestris L. on Expression of ICAM-1, VCAM-1, E-Selectin and Proteome Profile of Human Endothelial Cells In-Vitro

Background: Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammation that interferes with blood arteries functions due to the accumulation of low density lipids and cholesterol. Objective: To investigate the effect of aqueous extract and saponin fraction of Tribulus terrestris L. (TT) on the proteome and expression of intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), vascu...

Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1-positive reticular cells express interleukin-7 and stem cell factor in the bone marrow.

In vitro studies have defined an essential role for stromal cells in supporting B-cell development, including production of lymphopoietic cytokines. It has been suggested that stromal cells are equivalent to adventitial reticular cells in the marrow; however, evidence of reticular cells producing cytokines has been difficult to obtain. Staining of bone marrow (BM) sections with antibodies to in...

Bone marrow stromal cells and their application in neural injuries

Background: This article reviews experimental and clinical studies in which neural injuries repaired with bone marrow stromal cells. History: Bone marrow contains two kinds of stem cells: hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic (stromal) stem cell. In vitro studies indicate that bone marrow stromal cells have the capacity of differentiation into other cells (such as neural cell) under treatment wit...

Advances in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Mobilization and Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplantation

Hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs) which give rise to different blood cell types are present within the bone marrow microenvironment, especially in flat bones such as skull, vertebrae, pelvis and chest. Interacting factors such as stromal derived factor-1/CXCR4, very late antigen-4/vascular cell adhesion molecule-1, Lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1/ intercellular adhesion molec...

بررسی اثر آگونیست -آدرنرژیکی ایزوپروترنول بر بیان miR-886-3p و miR-23a در سلولهای بنیادی مزانشیمی مغز استخوان انسان

Background and Objective: Mobilization of Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSCs) for transplantation and the importance of -adrenergic signals in induction of this process have been well investigated. However, little is known about the role of -adrenergic signals in mobilization of HSCs and factors influenced by these signals. The Chemokine Stromal Derived Factor -1 (SDF-1) which is expressed by hum...
